Could I install a humbucker into my strat?

hey, i've been thinking about putting a humbucker into my strat (bridge position) and was wondering if the humbucker's wires would be soldered in the same places as the single coil. what i'm asking is, would the fact that it's a humbucker make a difference in the installation process? thanks in advance!
