How hard is Cisco CCIE networking?

CCIE Route & Switch is very difficult to obtain or everyone would do it. You can plan to spend about a year solid on learning and knowing the material. The biggest problem I had when practicing for the lab was not knowing the material it was completing everything in the time allotted. Remember you don't get any help and you can't just go look things up you must KNOW everything off the top of your head and you must be proficient. There is something like a 95% failure rate for this test just to give you an idea of how seriously difficult it is.
