Random Question: Can you stay breathing underwater by "Lip Locking" with someone else?

I am trying to prove a point here, but can't find the proof to do it. Someone was telling me that you can, in order to survive submerged underwater, you can lock lips with another person and breath that way. Is this true, I am thinking that you would become acidotic.
