What's the risk of using my new Bauer One80 Stick on a Rubber Surface?
So I'm a frequent Roller Hockey player, Ice when Chicago weather permits and I just bought a Bauer One80 stick for myself for my birthday. Only until after I bought did I realize it would be a terrible idea to use a composite stick on cement as it would get torn apart. But my school has a field house with a surface that is a somewhat rubbery plastic mix, hard to pinpoint exactly what it is, but if you've been in a nice field house before you probably know what I mean. Anyway, I was wondering if it was probably alright to use my new Bauer Composite in there. I'm sure that it's way safer for the blade than concrete but I know if it's not ice it's not ice. Please get back to me if you have any experience, I'd love to be able to use it soon but I don't wanna risk screwing up the blade of a new 120$ stick.
