Possession and Paraphenalia, will i get charged?

I am 18 and 3 weeks ago I was sitting in my friends car in a parking lot which is owned by my parents. All of a sudden a cop came to the window. The cops asked what we were doing in there and we said just sitting (I was waiting for my mom to get off work). The cop preceeded to start askin question like "has anyone been around your car tonite?". He asked that question about 7 times. He then said, "I smell weed". I thought, well thats impossible we hadnt smoked that day. The cop searched my friend, then his car and found a roach. The cop threw the roach back under the seat and told my friend he needed to sweep it up. He then came over to me ( am a female), searched my pockets and took my purse without asking. He found 2 joints. He did not cite me with anything, and told me if I didnt go to the narcotics detective the next day to nark people out I would get a summons. It has been 3 weeks and still nothing..Were they just trying to scare me? He didnt take down nething but my name
